Certified Chiropractic Care
Crittenden County Animal Clinic offers certified chiropractic care for horses and small animals, such as dogs. Dr. Maddux is certified to perform chiropractic care on animals by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA).
Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between the animal’s spinal column and nervous system. It restores the spinal column to its normal movement and function. This promotes healthy brain activity and ensures your horse’s muscles, bones and joints function properly.
At a chiropractic appointment, Dr. Maddux determines if there are problems with your pet’s spinal column and if the problem is affecting surrounding tissue. Bad alignment in your pet can lead to muscle spasms and soreness, changes in a horse’s gait, coordination, movement or a reduction of flexibility and motion.
